Help Arees Beat Leukemia
Hi my name is Nangdy, I started this go fund me for a close friend who’s going through something we never imagined. They just found out their son who is just 2 years old has leukemia. What’s worse is this all happened within a few months after their dad just passed away. They just welcome a newborn a few days ago. Instead of celebrating their newborn and enjoying time with their newborn, they’re at the hospital with their 2 years old. Whatever you can help and give them is much appreciated. A little about our baby:
Our Arees Tshwj Xeeb Yang born on 03/18/2019. He’s 2 years old and 5 months. He loves chickens, eating, swimming, animals, cars, toys, and riding his scooter. He’s not a picky eater and he is loved by his parents, siblings, and families.
I wake up blaming myself that if only I took him in sooner. 3 weeks ago I thought he had a neck/back pain because he keeps lowering his neck and wouldn’t put his head up. So after couple days I was gonna take him on 08/06/2021 to valley children’s. But I went into labor that afternoon. So after 3 days in the hospital, we got discharged and we came home. On 08/09/2021, I took baby and him to go see his pediatrician and he wouldn’t let the doctor touch him. So he referred us to valley’s children’s hospital. After all scans, they said it was pneumonia in his left lungs. After 3 days in the hospital, they sent us home on antibiotics. As days went by, he kept losing weight even after we have to force him to eat and drink. He started to have fevers and sweats. So on 08/16/2021, I had my husband take him back in because they only allow one parent in the ER. After they did ct scan in his chest, they found a mass by his chest. And then more testing started and biopsy was performed getting tissues from his bone marrow. After days of testing, on 08/19/2021, it came to conclusion that he has mature B cell leukemia. My heart broke down. I didn’t know how to take it all in. I would cry and cry. Even til today I’m still crying in disbelief. He’s so small. He doesn’t deserve all this. I pray that this rocky road to recovery is safe and that he overcomes this cancer. Thank you for for your donations, words, and prayers.
