On the morning of Tuesday, March 10, 2026, a tragic accident occurred on Nosehill Drive, Calgary. An 18 year old young man named Areeb had pulled over to the side of the road to change a tire when he was struck by a passing vehicle. The incident left Areeb with significant injuries, and he was transported to the hospital where he is currently receiving medical care.

Areeb’s family is now facing an incredibly difficult time. While he is stable, he remains in pain and is continuing his recovery in hospital. Moments like this bring immense emotional stress, uncertainty, and financial strain for families as they focus all of their energy on supporting their loved one.

We are creating this fundraiser to support Areeb and his family during this challenging period. The goal is to help ease some of the financial pressures that may arise from medical care, time away from work, transportation, and other unexpected expenses that come with a sudden traumatic event.

Any contribution, big or small, will help relieve some of the burden so that Areeb’s family can focus on what matters most right now; being by his side and supporting him through his recovery.
