Help Arden Weidow Attend Sabai Massage School

My name is Arden Weidow, I was born and raised in Montana. I am the oldest daughter of six. My favorite hobbies are spending time outside, drawing and painting. My dream in life is to own and run my own massage business. After I graduate high school this June, I plan on attending Sabai massage school in Stevensvile, Montana. The program will be six months long and costs 10,000 dollars. I am currently working and saving for school. Even with working full time after graduating I will not make enough to pay for school and support myself. My family is supportive of me going to school but can not financially support me. This is why I am asking for your help.

My interest in massage therapy started in my freshman year. I was assigned a large project where I was to choose a career and research it. I chose massage therapy for many reasons, and the key reasons being that I am a very hands-on learner and massage therapy is a hands-on profession. Secondly, I am an athlete participating in both wrestling and volleyball. I have seen many teammates suffer from injuries both preventable and not. A close friend of mine in volleyball injured her shoulder. This led to her shoulder muscles being bound causing it to be very painful and difficult for her to hit. Before and after games we would sit on the bleachers and I would rub her shoulder, this helped her shoulder loosen and relieve pain. Helping her and others in this simple way makes me feel like I am doing my part to make the world a little healthier. This is what sparked my interest in massage therapy.

After I have my own practice I plan on giving discounts to student athletes, veterans, and elderly. This is my way of giving back to the community that has supported me and that I love.
