Help Arden Family Repair Hurricane Damage

My mom and my brother are currently living in our home in Arden with a hole in the roof, caused by Hurricane Helene. Insurance said they will only pay for the removal of the tree that directly hit the house. We can't start getting the house and the roof fixed until these trees are taken care of. Someone is coming tomorrow for the trees and we know this is going to be extremely expensive beyond what insurance will pay for. Any contributions will help to get the process started of making the house livable.

Both my mom and brother are physically safe and have food and water. They have not had power or internet since Friday and are just now getting some sporadic cell service. The fire department came by today and said that even after the power comes back on (expected Friday), they do not recommend having power in the house until the roof is fixed and all the electrical work is re-done.

The amount of the fundraiser is a moderate estimate and I'll update once we have a better sense of the numbers, but the tree guy is coming tomorrow (Wednesday 10/2). Both cars are totaled and they've requested a rental but there aren't any available for the foreseeable future.
