Help Archita Fight Rare, Aggressive Cancer and Save Her Life
Donation protected
Our beloved friend Archita Das (Tonni) — a 2015 graduate of Cumilla Modern High School and final-year student at Cumilla Victoria Government College — is once again in a harrowing fight for her life.
Diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive muscle cancer, Archita has been bravely battling this disease since the age of 3. Now 27, she faces the most terrifying and complex chapter yet.
After multiple rounds of chemotherapy since 2000 and surgeries as recently as 2023, Archita’s cancer has returned with a vengeance — spreading from her left femur to her entire left leg, surrounding muscle, and even her lungs.
Doctors now recommend:
• 2–3 more rounds of chemotherapy
• A life-altering Palliative External Hemipelvectomy (removal of entire left leg and hip)
• Additional chemotherapy after surgery
• Potential Lung Lobectomy if lung tumors persist
The estimated treatment cost is $9,000–$11,000 USD, not including possible lung surgery. Her family is already financially devastated. Her father, a retired government officer, suffers from heart disease,
and her elder brother is the only breadwinner.
But Archita is a fighter. She still dreams of walking again, laughing again, living fully again — and your support can make that happen.
Please, donate what you can. Share if you can’t. Every bit matters.
Organizer’s Note & Disclaimer
I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Archita Das, who lives in Bangladesh and is currently undergoing urgent cancer treatment. I am based in the United States and will be collecting the funds on her behalf through my bank account, as GoFundMe does not directly support fund withdrawals to Bangladesh. All funds raised will be fully transferred to Archita and her family via secure international transfer services (such as Wise or bank wire) and will be used strictly for her medical expenses, surgeries, and treatment-related needs. I will keep transparent records of all fund transfers and provide updates as they happen. This campaign is purely humanitarian and non-profit. I do not receive any personal benefit from the funds raised. I’m simply trying to help a friend in desperate need.
Thank you for your kindness, trust, and support.
