My name is Lore and I have organised this fundraising with other friends here in Australia and the Philippines as our little way to help a former classmate from High School — Archie Fajardo.

Archie, 42, living in the Philippines has undergone an operation due to Acute

Pancreatitis around first week of July 2025. But just few weeks after his operation, I heard from my friends that he was back in the hospital due to suspected infection and complication arising from his previous operation. Compounded by high creatinine levels, he has also undergone dialysis per his doctor’s recommendation. After several days in the hospital in a small town in the province, his condition has never improved, hence his relatives, classmates and friends thought of transferring him to Philippine Heart Centre (PHC) in Quezon City where he can get a better health care. With the assistance of the local government as well, he was immediately admitted in PHC on July 27 where he is now confined.

Archie is single, orphaned and only child, but has step-siblings who are also financially challenged. For the past month, not able to work, he has already spent most of his savings for his medical check ups, operation and hospitalisation.

His relatives, high school classmates and friends are also seeking help from social welfare. However, with limited funds and public health insurance benefits (PhilHealth), he is in need of financial support during this challenging time to cover his ongoing medical expenses in PHC so he can focus on his medical treatment and way to recovery.

Any donation, no matter the amount, would make a huge difference for Archie. If you’re unable to donate, keeping him in your prayers is just as appreciated.
