Help Baby Archie Ray Fight Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS)

On July 10th, Anna and Tommy welcomed their beautiful baby boy, Archie Ray Coon, into the world.

Before he was born, Archie was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), a rare and serious form of Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) that affects normal blood flow through the heart.

He has been in the Neonatal ICU since birth, fighting bravely every single day.

While Archie’s heart and lung functions are currently stable, his tiny body is struggling to gain weight.

Because of this, he remains dependent on multiple breathing supports and cannot yet begin the weaning process.

His care team anticipates that he may need to stay hospitalized for another month or more.

The hospital is three hours away from home, and this distance has added emotional and financial strain to an already difficult journey. Anna, Archie’s mom, is by his bedside every day, while Tommy, his dad, is working and maintaining the home, only able to visit on weekends.

While we have been combining resources as a family for the last two months, the time has come to reach out to our communities and ask for help.
