Help Archie Purr Again

Hi everyone, I am creating this for my best friend Luisa Alvarez, some of you may wake up to watching her on CTV's morning live show. Her beloved cat Archie, has unfortunately fallen critically ill. In the afternoon of Dec.4th, Luisa's fiance Ivan found him lethargic on the ground, and rushed him to the vet. He is currently blind and imbalanced with a head tilt, being monitored at the hospital, progressively getting worse. Upon extensive testing at the specialist, vets are still unsure of the cause, diagnosis or prognosis. Further MRI testing will be required, costing $5000 alone (booked for Dec.6, earliest date available), not including treatment and hospital stays. Archie is much more than a pet to Luisa, he was a rescue during a time when she had no friends or family working out in Thunder Bay to jump start her career.

 

Archie is only 4 years old and not your average cat. He is the most cuddly, loving and friendliest cat, who steals the hearts of anyone who has the pleasure of meeting him.

 

This is a really difficult time for Luisa and Ivan, anything will help!
