Hi, My name is Archie, I am 14 years old and study at Angmering School.

I have been given the incredible opportunity to spend 4 weeks in Kenya on a life-changing trip with Camps International, an organisation that empowers students through hands-on experiences that support sustainable development in the communities they work with.

During my time in Kenya I will be helping build schools, teach English and support local children’s education. This project will make a real difference by giving Kenyan children access to safer learning and educational needs, helping to create lasting changes in their community.

I will also be involved in initiatives to promote a peaceful co-existence between the community and local wildlife, such as improving natural waterholes and planting indigenous trees for habitat and food sources.

Personally I hope to gain much from this trip - confidence, independence, teamwork and life skills and a far deeper understanding of the world around me.

At the end of this trip I will earn a qualification which will help me in my future studies and career path.

To make this trip possible, I need to raise a large amount through sponsorship. My whole family will be doing as much as they can, working extra hours and I will be carrying out sponsored walks, swimming, car washing, bingo nights etc.

But I do need extra help achieving my dream and would be grateful for any donations my family and friends can spare.
