Meet Archie! The runt of his liter and the last to be picked. A dog I didn't want to keep but wanted to find a good home for. As no doors opened and those plans fell apart, things came together at home. He ended up being exactly what our other grieving dog needed after the passing of our first adopted dog. She needed someone who could speak the same language. He also became what I needed, a best friend. Everyday, he reminds me that a dog can actually smile, recognize music, and understand English very well. At only half his life expectancy, he was recently diagnosed with mast cell tumors. cancer is tough for any living being. The outcome can be unpredictable but with optimistic hopes. But, with anything you love, it is worth the fight. Just as many, the pandemic has thrown us into a great deal of unexpected turns. Any bit would help him fight his battle with cancer. Anything extra, would be payed forward and will find it's way to the next person, in a tough situation at the vet.
