Help Archie Attend the 25th World Scout Jamboree!

Hello, my name is Archie Mitchell, I am an Explorer Scout from the Perth Riverside Group in Scotland. I was lucky enough to be 1 of 36 Scouts chosen to go to South Korea to represent the East of Scotland at the 25th World Scout Jamboree in 2023. The Jamboree is a once in a lifetime opportunity with the chance to meet 50,000 other Scouts from over 150 countries. It's kind of like the Scout Olympics!!

The UK contingent visiting Korea pays a premium (as do all first-world countries) so that Scouts from developing nations can attend as funding should never be a barrier for any Scout. If you sponsor me, you will also be helping Scouts and Explorers from developing countries attend.

Over the last eight years, I have enjoyed being in scouting. It has helped me make great friends, met some inspirational leaders, learnt some valuable life skills, and tried many exciting activities such as; driving, climbing, kayaking, etc. and shooting, to name just a few!

In order to attend, I need to raise £3,500 over the next 18 months. I hope to raise funds through a Bottle Auction and events like Beetle Drives, Coffee Mornings and Race Nights. If you are interested in buying tickets or attending events, I will post prizes and events updates.

Any donations that you can make, however small, will be fabulous – pennies grow into pounds.
