***UPDATE***
Thank you everyone who has been able to help support the Engledow Family. Due to your faithfulness you all have met our first Goal and major milestone of $47k, either through donations on this page or in person donations. This means that Archie will start his Chemotherapy Monday, he will be going through treatment Monday-Friday. So, 5 days of Chemotherapy then he will have a small break and back at it again. Please continue to pray for the Engledow Family during this time. And thank you so very much for everyone's support, each donation is a testament of Gods faithfulness and your love.
***End of Update***
For those who know Archie, you have quickly realized that he is a servant from the bottom of his heart. He has impacted so many lives for the kingdom of God and will continue to do so in spite of his recent adversity.
Our Goal for the Engledow family is $500,000 which should cover most if not all of their financial needs in the months to come.
Archie has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive soft tissue sarcoma that will need Chemotherapy, radiation treatment, surgery and begins treatment immediately. We do not know how long this treatment and recovery might take in total, but we will continue to support Archie and his Family the best we can.
Archie and his family has already started to feel the pains of our health system as they will have to pay all the fees up front for treatment and surgeries in order for his specific insurance to relieve any portion of the financial burden, and we would like to support him and his family by starting a GoFundMe page. If you know Archie, you know that he would not do this on his own - so as his friends we will stand in the gap.
If you have been impacted by his love, please consider donating to help soften the Engledow family’s financial burden during this season. Even if you don’t know him and you feel called to help, we all appreciate you.
These verses from the book of Acts come to mind:
Acts 4:32-35
All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.
I’m not asking you to sell your homes and land, but only what the Lord Jesus Christ has laid on your heart to offer up as a blessing.
If you don’t have wiggle room to help in such a way, then please pray for Archie’s healing, peace for Desiree, his wonderful bride, and their children Kaden and Addison. They all have heavy hearts and we ask that you would take some time just to pray for peace that only the God of peace can give.
If you know the Engledow family personally, we please urge you to not visit with them in person as Archie’s immune system will be compromised and any type of infection or sickness could turn lethal.
Also, if you would like to donate in person, please reach out to Stonepoint Church leadership and they will make sure your support finds the Engledow family.
