I'm looking to raise a bit of money for journalistic projects over the summer, namely following wildland events out here in Oregon and then in September heading East as I did last year to report on things out there as well. I am being sparing with my wording here because location names tend to scare tech companies. Anywho, as a presently-unemployed independent researcher and journalist, I am entirely reliant on donations to make these stories come to life. I have been graciously donated airline miles to get me to my destination this September, but currently have no way of getting home, nor affording lodging when I'm there.
