We are reaching out with heavy hearts to support Arailym Makhsut, a young girl from Kazakhstan whose life changed in an instant after a tragic car accident on March 11, 2026. Arailym suffered severe, life-threatening injuries and had to be airlifted by helicopter from Utah to the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque for emergency care. Her condition was critical, and she spent a week in the Trauma/Surgical ICU, battling devastating injuries including a brain injury, multiple skull and facial fractures, bilateral arm fractures, and pelvic and spinal injuries. She was intubated at the scene and remains bedridden, unable to eat or drink by mouth, and is experiencing memory loss. Her recovery will require time, patience, and extensive rehabilitation. Doctors say it may take weeks or even months to understand the full extent of her recovery, but we believe in her strength and resilience. Her mother has traveled from Kazakhstan to be by her side during this critical time, facing immense emotional and financial challenges.
