Hi everyone!
I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe! I just wanted to start this off by saying how incredibly blessed we are, especially to still have Aqsa. A couple of months ago she endured an absent seizure. This led to the contraction of her lungs which then resulted in a severe asthma attack. When this occurred, she lost oxygen and was not receiving any flow to her brain. This occurred for a total of seven minutes, resulting her to fall into a coma...
With a lot of faith and positivity, Aqsa did awake and is recovering! It has certainly been life changing, but if there is anyone who can overcome and thrive through anything it is Aqsa.
Due to this occurrence, it has taken a toll on her fine motor skills. It has affected her speech, her walking ability, and the usage of her hands. She is undergoing both physical and speech therapy and she is showing progression, she WILL continue to thrive. Thank you for taking the time to hear her story, any
