Help April's Journey Through Hospice Care

Hello, my name is Stephanie, I am fundraising for my mom April Escalante. As most of you know mom has been battling an aggressive form of cancer, Leiomyosarcoma, for the past five years. She did so well with her treatment that most of us were in denial about the severity of her condition.

April has been full of energy and positivity. She has been showing up for her friends, her children and grandchildren all the while suffering through relentless and sometimes painful cancer treatments. She showed up to work at The Out Law Bar and Grill every day to serve her loyal customers of 35 plus years. She has been the heart and soul of The Outlaw for 14 years as an investor and general manager. She has gained multiple loyal friends through her time serving the community all while raising her four children and being a loving grandmother to her 7 grandchildren.

Despite tireless efforts and multiple treatments, the cancer has progressed and chemotherapy has proven to be ineffective. As of April 12 our Mother, sister, friend and confidant has begun a new journey on hospice care.

At this time we are asking for help with paying the monthly expenses and medical bills as April is no longer earning an income. All proceeds will go toward mortgage payments, utilities, and medical bills/ supplies. Every donation is appreciated.
