Help April fight stage 4 colorectal cancer

I created this fundraiser for my mom, April Gardner Parrish, who is fighting stage 4 colorectal cancer. She was diagnosed June 15th 2020. She had resection surgery alone during covid and was in the hospital for 2 weeks without any visitors. She developed an infection and had to wear a wound vac for several months to help her incision heal. She had a port placed and started chemo in september/October and then her port got infected and she was admitted into the hospital for port removal. After they removed the port, the infection got into her blood stream and she became septic. She spent several nights in icu and a few days in the hospital after that. She then had an infusion of chemo, oxcilliplatin, through IV at her oncologists office and her vein blew causing all the chemo to run into her arm. It caused severe burning under her skin and large knots in the bend of her arm. Her veins were too small to hold the chemo so they had to stop the chemo treatments until she could get another port. She began radiation in January and completed 30 rounds. Imaging done after radiation showed that he cancer had spread. She now has spots under her left collar bone, the center of her chest and in her abdomen. She had another port placed and is currently on her 3rd round of chemo. The bills that have racked up are in the thousands and it's hard to keep up payments on all of them. She also has type 1 diabetes and those supplies alone are very costly. My dad has to take time off work to take her back and forth for treatments and he other appointments in Geogi. They have depleted their savings trying to keep everything paid and not have to ask for help.  

My parents have always been one of the first to help anyone who needs it. They help their community any way they can. They sponsor a family every year for Christmas, have taken numerous kids and adults in to our home in the 20 years they have been married,  moved them into our spare room and asked for nothing in return. My mom worked her tail off for over 10 years providing six flags tickets at the lowest possible amount to help families go have fun together without spending a ton of money to do it. My dad has been at the same job for over 20 years. They are givers and having to ask for help is really hard for them.
