On December 13, my life changed in an instant when I suffered a stroke caused by an aneurysm I was born with. The aneurysm burst unexpectedly, and I spent two weeks in the ICU fighting to recover. I woke up intubated, on a feeding tube, and was told I had a 50% chance of dying. During this time, my husband became my caretaker, putting his work on hold so he could be by my side while I fought for my life. This experience has turned our world upside down, leaving us unable to work and facing a mountain of medical bills and daily expenses.

As I focus on healing, we’re struggling to pay for my medication, hospital bills, and basic necessities like food, rent, phone, and car expenses. I’m also trying to keep my small business open, but it’s been incredibly difficult without the ability to work. Every day brings new challenges, and we’re doing our best to stay hopeful and positive despite the setbacks.
