A year ago, my life changed dramatically when I lost my home due to circumstances with my abusive ex that took everything from me. Since then, things have only gotten harder. Then 4 months after losing my home my car’s transmission went out, leaving me without reliable transportation. Then 2 months after losing my car I lost my job for not being able to make some days. I got a job but then lost it after two weeks because I needed to be there for my autistic/ADHD son during some difficult issues at school. I’ve been searching for work ever since just to be ignored or every interview ends in rejection.

I’m doing everything I can to keep going for myself and my kids with little odd jobs but it feels like I’m stuck in a cycle I can’t break. The funds from this fundraiser will go toward basic living expenses, help me get a used car so I can look for work, and cover important bills and phone bill for me Nas my kids. Having a phone is essential for staying connected and finding new opportunities, especially for my two kids and me.

Any help would be everything to me. I’ve been trying so hard and I just keep feeling like I’m failing no matter what I do to thrive. Anything that can be offered would be the biggest blessing I could ask for, and if not, that’s okay too—I just had to try because I feel like I’m drowning.
