Help April Get Back On Her Feet And Behind The Wheel

On March 27, 2025, April was involved in a serious car accident that totaled her 2014 Nissan Rogue. She suffered multiple fractures, including her foot and several in her pelvis, and spent five days in the ICU, followed by another week in the hospital and five days in a rehabilitation facility.

Since then, recovery hasn’t been easy. April hasn’t been able to return home due to the stairs at her house and has instead been staying with her sister and brother-in-law, 30 minutes away. She’s been on medical leave from work for over two months and is only just beginning to walk without a walker. She hopes to return home (and eventually to work) very soon.

Unfortunately, her vehicle was still being financed, and insurance only covered its current value, not the full amount owed. That left April without any equity or funds for a down payment on a replacement vehicle. With two teenagers at home and no vehicle, she’s facing a tough road ahead.
