Hello my name is Simone. I am Dante Selby older sister. We are starting this go fund me account for his beautiful wife April Lane-Selby. In October she was diagnosed with oral cancer which is on her tongue. She has been getting treatment since and will soon undergo surgery Friday 2/6/2026. They have 4 beautiful children and just an amazing family. April is a strong woman but at this time support is appreciated. Those of you who been asking how to help this would be the easiest way.

Peace Family & Friends of myself & April Nichelle we’ve been fighting one of the toughest battles I think anyone can ever face.

We go in for surgery Friday. This is a life changing procedure that we are not ready for by no means.

April is very strong mentally & physically she has a lot to fight for. & I’ll be sure to fight with her through it all.

Thank you all in advance for the support never thought I would have to be the one to post my personal personal life on this app but we need all the strength we can get.

Our Children Kyrie, Kamina, Kareem, Khalife they are adjusting well & helping more than any child should at this age but understanding this life can have many challenges but it’s how we overcome from here…

April is out of surgery. It went well, my sister has long road to recovery . Continue with the prayers please we still need them. Thank you for the calls and messages. As a family we can’t thank you all enough it’s been overwhelming and the love is felt. Thank you all so much.
