Help Apple buy a car after her accident

Mention the name Apple Ahearn and many people in the valley will know you’re about to talk about the veteran activist, food coop manager and tireless farmer advocate, famous for the mantel of white hair she’s had since her twenties.  Apple is known for her boundless energy, a good laugh, and dancing feet.  Most of us are lucky to have half the energy she has at nearly 75 years of age, and still working.

We were all saddened to hear that Apple had a car accident a few weeks ago, totaling her old car, and giving her a severe concussion, that will take a while to recover from.

Having no collision insurance on her beloved old Saab convertible there’s very little money for a newer car. So, we are reaching out to her friends and fans in the Pioneer Valley, to give what they can to help Apple get back on the road so she may continue giving support to friends in need, helping Massachusetts farmers and food coops survive and thrive, and marching for the rights of everyone.

Please give what you can.  Every dollar will help.
