Hi, my name is Abigail, and I’m raising funds for my rabbit, Apple, who was recently diagnosed with thymoma, a tumor in the chest area.

Apple is still very young, and after talking through options with her veterinary team, I’ve decided to pursue radiation treatment because it offers her the best chance. Radiation tends to be successful for thymoma, especially when treated promptly.

The hard part is the cost. Cancer care adds up quickly: specialist consultations, imaging, anesthesia, radiation planning and sessions, medications, follow-up visits, and support if she has a rough day. I’m doing everything I can, but I can’t cover all of it alone.

Apple also has a bonded buddy named Mango. Mango has already lost one companion, and I cannot stand the thought of him losing Apple so soon, especially as he’s getting older. They are a little family, and I’m trying to protect both of them by giving Apple the care she needs now.
