Apollo is Fighting for His Life – He Needs Your Help Urgently!

This is Apollo. He’s not just a dog—he’s my son, my companion, my best friend. And right now, he is fighting the toughest battle of his life – and he needs you to win.

Apollo has megaesophagus, a rare and devastating condition that prevents his body from processing food properly. He wants to eat, but his own body won’t let him. Every meal is a risk, as he can aspirate food into his lungs and develop severe pneumonia.

Last week, he was hospitalized for three days on IV fluids. This week, everything got worse… He ran out of his medication, and because this disease is so rare, the veterinarians gave him the wrong treatment protocol, which led to a dangerous aspiration.

This time, he had to be hospitalized again. The hospital recommended he stay for three days, as he lost a lot of weight and can no longer eat on his own. To survive, he needs to be fed through a nasal feeding tube that delivers food directly to his stomach, bypassing his esophagus.

But I couldn’t afford the full three days… I did everything I could, and with a heavy heart, I was only able to pay for one day on my credit card. But he needs more time to recover!

To help Apollo eat properly at home, I purchased a custom-made special feeding chair, but it hasn’t arrived yet. Meanwhile, he remains in the hospital, receiving nutrition and medications through IV.

He is only 2 years old, and with the right treatment, he can live a long and happy life. But he needs help now.
