Help Apathy Disease Reclaim Their Band Name

We are Apathy Disease, a band based in Columbus, Ohio. Our project has been ongoing since 2022. Our frontwoman, Ivy created our band name to symbolize what she felt was an important issue in the world, apathy toward world events and others that builds complacency.

The band was originally just two members, Ivy and our ex-lead guitarist. Our lead guitarist was the one with access to our DistroKid account. Since leaving the band, he has taken down our old music from platforms and uploaded his own music under our name recently.

We've tried to remove this music that has falsley claimed to be released by Apathy Disease, but we don't have any legal standing to do so without a trademark.

This is an expensive venture, but we have to do this for the name of our band, the values that we hold, money spent on merch, logos, and posters, and for any fans that have already bought our merch. Donations go directly toward this trademark.

Our music is finally almost ready for release, and music released under our bandname is a serious roadblock to our band's credibility and success.

This is our dream, and we are starting to find success, but can't do this alone.
