I started feeding one outside cat at my apartment complex, and before I knew it, more and more cats began showing up. Over the past year, I’ve seen at least four different litters of kittens, and I’ve noticed that many of the males aren’t fixed and some of the females have been pregnant. I feed them regularly, but I’m moving out soon and want to make sure these cats are cared for before I leave.
The donations from this fundraiser will go directly toward spay and neuter surgeries, whether it’s at a local vet or the Humane Society. I’ll also use the funds to provide food and shelter for the cats while I’m still here. For the cats that are friendly and comfortable around people, I plan to take them to the Humane Society so they can find loving homes and avoid being euthanized.
A little bit goes a long way. I’m a full-time student and work full-time, so I’m not able to help all these cats out of pocket. I’ve helped one cat before, but it was a big expense and made things financially tough for me. These cats don’t need a whole lot—even a small contribution can make a big difference. Thank you so much for considering helping these animals get the care and future they deserve.
