Never really thought I'd find myself asking for money from strangers on the internet but here I am, somewhere way beyond desperate. Today, my dog Apache slipped through my backdoor when she saw my neighbor, and when I went to grab her she ran off towards the road into 40+mph traffic. She was hit in the back half of her body and fractured multiple areas throughout her pelvis and has a sacroiliac luxation. The doctor quoted me at $8,000-$10,000 which doesn't include the potential bladder issues they couldn't see on the x-ray. I paid $660 to find out my only option is to cage rest her for 2-3 months in hopes that she can heal decently enough on her own. Now I'm home with her, and she's just laying here, unable to stand. She's only a year old, and she deserves to be able to run and live a full life. It breaks my heart seeing her like this (4th pic where she's laying with her food and water). Anything that you can spare would mean the world to me
