It is with broken hearts that we share the devastating news that sweet Apache has passed away due to unforeseen complications from his surgery. Despite the dedicated efforts of the veterinary team and the incredible support from you all, Apache crossed the rainbow bridge peacefully.
Though Apache is no longer with us, Erica is still facing significant veterinary bills from his treatment and emergency care. If you are able, we kindly ask for continued support to help manage these expenses during this incredibly difficult time.

Help Apache Get Life-Saving Surgery
Hi, my name is Johnna, and I’m reaching out to ask for help for my friend, Erica's beloved dog, Apache. He’s a gentle giant — a beautiful mix of Great Dane and Irish Wolfhound — and a deeply cherished member of her family. Recently, Apache was rushed to the emergency vet with gastric dilatation-volvulus (GDV), also known as bloat, a life-threatening condition that requires emergency surgery.
Apache is more than just a pet — he’s a loyal companion, Erica's son Maverick 's emotional support animal, a comforting presence to all, and a true friend. He’s brought so much love and joy into everyone's lives, and now he needs our help.
The cost of the surgery and necessary aftercare is estimated to be $8,000, which is more than she can afford on her own. Without prompt treatment, GDV can be fatal, but with your support, Apache has a real chance at recovery.
Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward Apache’s medical expenses. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page would mean the world to us.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support during this difficult time.
With gratitude,
Johnna, on behalf of Erica, Jackson and Maverick
