I am organizing a class trip for my 11th and 12th grade AP Spanish Language and Culture students to see a Federico García Lorca play in Manhattan. This is a unique opportunity for my students to experience Spanish literature and culture firsthand, bringing their classroom studies to life in a way that will inspire and motivate them. Unfortunately, we were unable to secure funding for bussing, so we have to rely on the train to get to the city. With 24 people in our group, purchasing individual train tickets is not only expensive but also less efficient than renting a bus, which the district will not allow. The total cost quickly adds up, making it difficult for some students to participate. I am reaching out to our community to help offset the cost of these train tickets. Your support will ensure that every student has the chance to attend this special trip, regardless of their financial situation. This experience will be invaluable for their language learning and cultural understanding. Thank you very much for making this experience accessible to all students. Your generosity will have a lasting impact on our class, and we are deeply grateful for any help you can provide.
