Help Anya Heal and Thrive: Support Her Medical Care
Donation protected
Sometimes the most extraordinary little souls find us in the most unexpected ways.
A week or so ago, my brother was driving in traffic when a tiny kitten was tossed out of a moving car right in front of him. It was a miracle she wasn’t hit. She was tiny, trembling, and (now we know) barely four weeks old. There was no mother in sight—just this fragile baby alone in the world.
My brother scooped her up, and he and his family began the huge task of bottle-feeding her around the clock and ridding her of fleas.
They did their best to try and find her a home or a foster, but Austin is inundated with animals needing help right now. So my brother asked me if I would care for her—and I said yes.
I named her Anya, which means “grace.” Because that’s exactly what brought her to us.
Anya has already been through more than any kitten should. She’s battling a damaged tail from either an infection, or from the tumble she took out of the car. She most definitely needs to be dewormed, tested for feline leukemia, vaccinated, and slowly brought up to a healthy weight.
We’re committed to being her forever family and providing what she needs—but since we were not expecting a new member of the family right now, we need your help getting her through this crucial first stage of care.
Every dollar donated will go directly toward:
• Vet visits and diagnostics
• Deworming
• Tail treatment
• Vaccinations
• Feline leukemia and other necessary testing
• Nutritional support and supplies
We believe Anya’s little life matters. If you do too, please consider donating or sharing her story. Your kindness will help give her the second chance she so deeply deserves.
From the bottom of our hearts—thank you.
