Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who helped my baby girl. Unfortunately, we lost her. But, because of your help, she was able to pass peacefully at the vet. They were kind enough to stabilize her and make her comfortable, and to bring her outside (her favorite place), and give us time to say goodbye. Anubis is my heart and soul. We’ve been together since she was a tiny puppy, and I still remember her peeing on my lap on the way home the first day we got her. From the very beginning, she has been the gentlest and kindest soul. She’s been my constant companion ever since, helping me through depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Anubis is my support animal, always keeping me calm and grounded. She’s gentle and loving, making sure all my other animals—cats and rabbits—are safe and cared for. I can trust her completely, knowing they’ll all be cuddled up together when I’m not around. She’s traveled across the country with me, climbed mountains, and swum in lakes. She loves road trips and the outdoors, and she’s truly my heaven on earth. I honestly don’t know what I’d do without her.

Yesterday, Anubis suffered a terrible fall and is now facing a life-threatening emergency. She’s been diagnosed with hemoabdomen, which means she’s bleeding internally and urgently needs a blood transfusion and surgery to survive. Every moment counts—she’s losing blood and needs help right now. The costs for her care are overwhelming, and I’m reaching out for support because I would do anything to keep her healthy and safe.
