Help Anton's Family in Ukraine
Donation protected
Hi Friends, I've set this GoFundMe up on behalf of The Roxbury Club in Stamford, CT to help the man at the center of our Paddle Tennis Community: Anton Protsenko. Anton, as many of you know, is from Ukraine, a country undergoing an unthinkable crisis of war. His family, like everyone else in Ukraine, has been deeply impacted.
Anton's family is in Kyiv. They have all lost their sources of income due to the war.
Anton's younger brother Maksim was in the video production business, and is now part of an organization that secures and delivers food for people in need (i.e. who've lost their homes, who are hiding bomb shelters, who are in hospitals or elderly). Because he is a male between the ages of 18 and 60, he is not allowed to leave the country. While Maksim's wife is allowed to leave, she refuses to leave him behind and is still there with him.
Anton's mother Tamara, is a teacher of children ages 4 to 10. She is also making the tough decision to stay in Ukraine with her significant other (also a teacher, and mandated to remain), Maksim and his wife, and several other family and friends in their care.
Our wish is to support Anton's family and loved ones financially. Just a week and a half ago, they were living everyday lives as valued members of their community. While they continue to help others amidst tragedy, we would like to help them as best we can. Please spare what you can; the funds will go directly through Anton to his family in Ukraine.
