Help Antonio and his family recover from Scam Loss

Dear friends and family,
I hope this message finds you well. As many of you know, my name is Antonio Ayres, but most know me as Cacá. In 2022, my family and I took a leap of faith and moved to Canada, hoping to build a better future. However, life took an unexpected and heartbreaking turn when I lost my wife in early 2023. Since then, I have been navigating life as a single father to my three amazing children, doing my best to provide for them despite the many challenges we've faced.
Recently, in an effort to make ends meet, I decided to look for online employment opportunities as a side hustle. I was contacted via text by someone who claimed to have seen my profile on Indeed. The message directed me to another contact named Daisy, and while I was hesitant at first, the conversation seemed legitimate. Wanting to seize what I thought was a chance to help my family, I followed their instructions and created an account with them (https://www.magnusonhotels.com).
Unfortunately, it turned out to be a sophisticated scam. Before I realized what was happening, my entire savings account was drained. I immediately contacted my bank and Coinbase to cancel the transfers, but since I had authorized the transactions by clicking on the link, they told me there was nothing they could do to recover my money. This devastating loss has left me financially broken, on top of the emotional and mental toll it has taken.
Right now, I am waiting for my work permit to be finalized so that I can get back on my feet. However, while I wait, my children and I struggle to cover basic necessities. That’s why I am contacting you—my friends, family, and community—for support during this challenging time.
Any contribution, big or small, would mean the world to me and my children as we work toward stability. Your kindness, whether through financial help, sharing this message, or simply offering words of encouragement, will make a profound difference in our lives.
If you’re able to support us, I will be forever grateful. I know that with the love and generosity of those around me, we can get through this and find our way to a brighter future.
With love and gratitude,
Antonio Ayres (Cacá)
