Road to the BMX World Championships in Brisbane – Australia

Representing Colombia

Hello, we are Antonia’s family, and today we are asking for your support to help fulfill one of the biggest dreams of her athletic career.

This fundraiser is being organized by me, Gabriel Saldarriaga, Antonia’s cousin and the only member of our family currently living in the United States. I am managing this campaign on behalf of our family to make her participation in the World Championships possible.

For the second year in a row, Antonia has qualified as the #1 rider in Colombia to compete in the UCI BMX World Championships in Brisbane, Australia.

Last year, she qualified as well, but we were unable to travel due to financial limitations. This year, we have the opportunity again… and we don’t want to miss it.

‍♀️ Who is Antonia?

Antonia is a passionate BMX rider who has dedicated years of discipline, early mornings, training, and sacrifice to reach this level.

Her dream is to represent Colombia on the biggest stage in BMX and show that with hard work and love for the sport, dreams can come true.

Competing in a world championship involves high costs, including:

* Flights from Colombia to Australia

* Competition registration

* Bike and equipment transport

* Accommodation and meals

* Uniform and preparation

As a family, we have done everything we can, but the total cost is beyond our means.

Hola, somos la familia de Antonia y hoy queremos pedir tu apoyo para cumplir uno de los sueños más grandes de su carrera deportiva.

Esta campaña está siendo organizada por mí, Gabriel Saldarriaga, primo de Antonia y el único miembro de la familia que vive actualmente en Estados Unidos. Estoy gestionando esta recaudación en nombre de nuestra familia para hacer posible su participación en el Mundial.

Por segundo año consecutivo, Antonia clasificó como la número 1 a nivel nacional para participar en el UCI BMX World Championships que se realizará en Brisbane, Australia.

El año pasado también logró la clasificación, pero no pudimos viajar por falta de recursos. Este año tenemos nuevamente la oportunidad… y no queremos dejarla pasar.

‍♀️ ¿Quién es Antonia?

Antonia es una niña apasionada por el bicicross que ha dedicado años de disciplina, madrugadas, entrenamientos y sacrificios para llegar a este nivel.

Su sueño es representar a Colombia en el escenario más importante del BMX mundial y demostrar que con trabajo y amor por el deporte los sueños sí se pueden alcanzar.

Participar en un mundial implica costos muy altos, como:

Como familia hemos hecho todo lo posible, pero el costo total del viaje supera nuestras posibilidades.
