Dear family and friends, I'm asking for help through the most difficult time I've ever faced financially. I have been out of work since Sept. and unable to receive any help from the state. I have checked every local social service for help but they are all overwhelmed.  The good news is I did land a job starting Monday but I won't get paid for 2 weeks and even then it's two weeks of part time training and won't be enough to cover rent. I am out of credit and have no way of even buying gas or food for me (and my kids when they are with me on the weekends).  I will gladly accept help in the form of food and loans. I need help to stay afloat the next two weeks and pay Dec. rent.
