Help Anthony Secure Custody for Angelina

Hello! My name is Anthony, and I wanted to share a bit about my journey as a dad to my amazing daughter, Angelina. She’s a bright, creative spirit who loves all things Anime and dreams of living in Japan one day.

This custody battle began in 2011 when her birth mother was convicted of domestic abuse against me and child neglect towards my daughter. After spending over $30,000 for my first lawyer, the court decided that she was only violent around me and would pose no threat to our daughter. At the first exchange, she never showed up and didn't return for 5 years.

Once she returned, my wife Ciara and I had a decision to make: whether we would allow her to visit her or refuse. Against our better judgment, we chaperoned some visits and allowed her to get to know her again, only to be served the next day and begin the custody battle again. I have spent over $70,000 in legal fees and I have been served once again for full custody transfer.

The person I am up against has refused extracurricular activities for our daughter, intentionally misses all games and practices for her visitation, sends free backpack giveaways for school supplies, and has stopped every family vacation we have tried to take with Angelina. She has not helped financially with anything for Angelina since before her 1st birthday.

I am asking for help covering the retainer for my lawyer. The total is $5,000 but I have a plan to acquire $3,500. If you know me or my family, I would not be doing this if it wasn't for my family. It is hard to ask people for help, but I have exhausted all of my options.
