Help Anthony Pursue His College Basketball Dream

Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Christian and I am a single parent of 3 wonderful children. My oldest son just graduated high school in May 2025 and now he is pursuing his dreams of playing college basketball. He has a chance to play in North Carolina, but as a single mom working full-time with no opportunities for overtime and being a full-time student, it has been hard to make ends meet for him to get there. Anthony has had a love for the game of basketball since he was around 8 years old. It started with him training himself every day in our front yard, which led him to playing on his first AAU team with I-9 Sports at age 10. He was seen as one of the biggest players on his team. As his love for the game continued to grow, so did he. He excelled in school, and when things got rocky, he shifted his perspective and got his head back in the game. He went on to play for his elementary school's AAU team at LaCore Christian Elementary. Anthony continued working on his craft, attending camps and private workout sessions. He played for North Florida Hurricanes AAU team, where he played with his same age group and also played up with other players older and bigger than he was. His coaches loved him. He played basketball for Parsons Christian Academy middle school and 1 year of high school. He then moved to Sandalwood High School, where he also led the team his first year and his senior year as captain. Coaches describe Anthony as smart, strong, a great guard and defensive player, he listens and takes constructive criticism well, he’s respectful and well-mannered, he’s funny and willing to help anyone. Anthony never quit when it got hard; he worked HARDER, and this is something that I have always admired about my son, and this is why I’m asking for your help. His dedication, determination, and self-discipline always made me feel so proud to call him my son. I don’t want to feel like I did not do EVERYTHING I can to make his dreams come true, so here I am, asking for help.

I had Anthony right out of high school at the age of 18, and I had no idea how to raise a child, but I made a promise to Anthony that I would do everything in my power to provide for him and support him. As I look back on his journey, I am so proud, blessed, and grateful that he stayed dedicated to his craft. I’m asking for donations so that he can continue to work hard, be successful, and trust the process while fulfilling his dreams. Thank you.
