Help Anthony on his road to recovery
Donation protected
As Anthonys self proclaimed best friend in the entire universe (lol), I have decided to start a Go Fund Me for him in this time of need. I have never created a Go Fund Me before, so bare with me writing this intro.
On the morning of Sept 5th Anthony took himself to Urgent Care after feeling very ill and rapidly declining. He was admitted into the hospital and it was determined that he has severe Diverticulitis that resulted in a MASSIVE life threatening infection the doctors said progressed at rates they had never seen before. At one point his organs seized and he was taken into ICU for some time. He was medically sedated for days and needed 2 vital operations. He was finally discharged on Sept 23rd and has a LONG road to recovery ahead of him. He also needs to return to the hospital in 6 months to have a Ileostomy and will be out of work during that entire time. This medical crisis has come as a shock to all of us and it has resulted in substantial medical bills that could never have been anticipated. Despite his insurance coverage, the expenses are piling up, causing significant financial strain on Anthony and his family.
Anthony is a very active community member that has always been there for his loved ones and is also a full time care taker for his mother suffering with dementia. Now, he’s the one who needs our help. This unexpected medical crisis has left him unable to cover these unforeseen costs on his own.
The funds raised through this GoFundMe campaign will be dedicated solely to covering Anthony’s medical bills, which include hospital stays, treatments, medications, and essential follow-up care. Your generous contribution will provide Anthony with the financial support he desperately needs to focus on his recovery without the overwhelming burden of medical debt.
If you’re unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing this campaign with your friends, family, and social networks. Every share brings us closer to reaching our goal and helping Anthony on his path to recovery.
If you have any questions, want to learn more about Anthony’s situation, or simply want to offer words of support, please feel free to reach out to us directly through this GoFundMe page.
Thank you for taking the time to read Anthony’s story and for any support you can provide. Your compassion and generosity are invaluable as we work together to help him recover from this unexpected medical crisis.
