This Go Fund Me is set up for my brother-in-law Anthony. He was recently diagnosed with heart failure, and is awaiting a heart transplant. Anthony "Tony" Delgado, is a son, husband, father to Andrew, Craig, and Kirstie, and beloved grandfather to six grandbabies that adore him and call him "Papa." Anthony is known for his unwavering work ethic with his mortuary business that has supported his family all these years. Anthony was recently on a health journey with his wife Natalie of forty years. Tony was losing weight and feeling stronger until, on his most recent birthday, he turned to Natalie and said, "I don't feel well. I need to go to the hospital" which are words he rarely said. Two days later he was having heart surgery. Starting at PIH hospital in Whittier, then transferred to UCI and now at UCSD Hospital, he has been diagnosed with chronic heart failure and only has 15% function of his heart. This time has been extremely emotionally and financially difficult for his family. They have to travel from Los Angeles to UCSD multiple times a week, and Anthony is required to stay near UCSD for treatment which is an added expense. Anthony's family and friends are asking for any donations, no matter how much, to help with his increasing medical costs, travel and lodging. Any and all help is truly appreciated.
