Help Anthony Dean Cover Urgent Living Expenses

Dear Friends, Family, and Kindhearted Supporters,

My name is Anthony Dean, and I am reaching out today with a humble request for assistance as I continue to navigate perhaps the most challenging period in my life. Due to the progression of my psoriatic arthritis, I was unfortunately let go from my last (well-paying) management job. This condition has made it difficult for me to perform the work that I was once qualified for and deeply committed to.

Thankfully, I finally found a part-time job after a very long period of unemployment. However, due to my chronic health issues (particularly my arthritis), I’m unable to handle the type of work I’m doing for more than ~20 hours a week and can only tolerate 5-6 hour shifts on my feet. Additionally, I took a huge pay cut for this job and I am making little over minimum wage.

As you may be able to surmise, this is not a sustainable situation and I am still heavily in debt and unable to survive paycheck to paycheck in regards to my insurance, bills, food, basic needs, etc.

I’ve been applying tirelessly for desk/office jobs and remote opportunities that I would be able to manage working at full-time, regardless of my health issues. Unfortunately, despite my dedication, the search has been unsuccessful so far.

Additionally, the cost of my health insurance monthly premium went up in January and the costs of my medications have skyrocketed. I have had to go off two medications cold-turkey due to inability to afford the prescription copays, and my diabetes medication alone shot up from around $20/month to over $100/month. I take upwards of 10 prescription medications daily to manage all of my chronic conditions, and I simply cannot afford all of my medications in my current situation.

To make matters even worse, my rental expenses have unexpectedly increased drastically, which has exacerbated my immediate and urgent need of support.

As of recently, I have been having to get advances from my paychecks early and even have had to turn to close friends to help me out, neither of which are sustainable solutions.

To make matters more difficult, I am still in the process of applying for Disability benefits, but as many of you may know, this is a long and tedious, uncertain process that could take months or even over a year to resolve. During this time, I’m facing mounting financial challenges and need help covering basic living expenses, including:
