Anthony Bernardo is a loving husband/father and has lately been going through some tough times. While in & out of the hospital for the past few months, he has recently (8/15/25) been diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma Nodular Sclerosis (with pneumonia). Although this is debilitating news, we as his family have decided to take this disease head on and fight it with everything they’ve got. Unfortunately, we don’t have much. I start school in September, and we did not have a vehicle to get back & forth until very recently. My mom has her own health issues and is doing her best. She is the only person in the household with an active license. The vehicle that we spent every penny on has been deemed unsafe in the state of Rhode Island and desperately needs repair. Please help us get our car back on the road so we can get him back and forth to treatments and for visits. Currently, we live in Coventry, Rhode Island with our 3 young rescue dogs. My father’s treatment plan begins tomorrow (8/19/25) and his doctor plans to throw everything but the kitchen sink at this rotten disease. There is so much yet to understand about what will come next for him, but we all know the financial burden of undergoing chemotherapy/radiation/blood transfusions and blood infusions can be one that no one should ever have to face. To all of our friends, family, and other kind patrons, we ask that you help my dad through these difficult times by donating money for our car repair and his treatment. We all want him to succeed in life, but we just can’t swing it. We pray for him and our family for a positive outcome. None of us can do it alone, but together we can do anything!! Please help us save my dad and bring his warm heart back into our loving home!
