UPDATE: It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of Anthony's passing this weekend.
Thank you for your overwhelming love and support for the Colombino Family.
This fundraiser was created to help assist and support Anthony Colombino who was recently diagnosed with AML (acute myeloid leukemia), a type of blood cancer. Anyone who knows Anthony knows his love, loyalty and dedication to his wife Laura, his 3-year-old son Anthony, and his family. Anthony and his wife Laura, have both dedicated their lives to working with and helping children. Anthony works passionately with children that have disabilities at the Search Day Program in Ocean Township and Laura is a registered nurse at Sea Girt Pediatrics. Their kindness, empathy and compassion have left lasting impressions among the hearts and lives of each of the children and families they touch.
Due to Anthony’s AML diagnosis, he and Laura will be unable to work their regular work schedules while Anthony receives treatment and Laura cares for Anthony and their son. We are asking for donations to help with costs related to Anthony’s medical expenses that include medical treatment, travel expenses to NYC, and to ease the burden and provide support to his family during this time. While Anthony begins treatment to fight this battle, any donations will be so very appreciated to help support the Colombino family on this journey and help Anthony BEAT this!
