Hi, my name is Anthony Ramos.
On Thursday, 8/14/25, at 5:44 am, on my way to work to open my store for my 6:00 am shift, myself, my wife Linda Colon, my stepson William, and my brother Hector (Bombie) were driving down the road to be dropped off at my job. When we got approximately 1 mile from my store, the unexpected happened. Due to road work taking place the day prior, our vehicle slid on the fresh gravel laid on the road, causing us to lose control, and the truck tumbled, flipping over.
I have suffered severe head trauma and a serious concussion, being admitted to Upstate Hospital in Syracuse, NY. I have a fractured femur causing my left leg to lock in one position. My wife, Linda Colon, suffered severe facial cuts and down her right arm pretty bad. She unfortunately broke her C1 spine bone in her lower back and had surgery to get a rod placed. Hector is still hospitalized; he suffered a really bad leg wound to his right thigh, a fractured nose bone, and a fracture in the back of his head. Lil William was ejected from the truck when it was flipping over. He suffered a head injury and lots of road rash.
Thank God Almighty for shining His light on us that morning, and we all made it out alive. Thanks be to God.
This GoFundMe is created for me and my family to help us get through this rough time. We all will need thorough recovery, and medication and supplies are not cheap, so I will need help for hospital bills, appointments, etc.
The Ford F250 that we were in during the accident is our only transportation here in NYS. That vehicle was our livelihood. It is the only way for me to get to work.
We have a long road ahead of us and we do need help.
If anyone can find it in their hearts to help me out, it will be the most amazing. My store depends on me. I am the store manager, and I'm the one that keeps things afloat and the business moving forward. Please help me and my family if you can. Anything will help.
Thank you from me and my family,
Linda Colon
