Ant bolted out of his mom's gate Thursday afternoon. She ran after him but lost sight of him because he's a strong runner. After doubling back for her car she drove through nearby neighborhoods for hours and called for him until finally someone said they had him in their hot shed and he "wasn't doing well."
Ant was rushed to the closest vet clinic where they gave him fluids and found that he has brain damage from the high heat and is unresponsive. He is now being transferred to a 24 hr clinic so that he can be monitored overnight as the vets are worried he will have more seizures.
The estimate from the first hospital was between $1,900 and $2,200 but we have no way of knowing how much his treatments will be on top of the overnight stay. Please consider donating to help us cover these treatments. Without help we're scared that we won't be able to afford to continue these treatments or get Ant the help he needs.
