On July 2, 2019, Brittany and Kevin welcomed their first child, Ansley Catherine. They were ecstatic over their perfect little baby girl. They had dreamt of being parents for so long, but soon after Ansley was born their world was shattered.

At her 1 month check up, when the pediatrician was examining her, she noticed her stomach was very stiff and enlarged. They were then advised to get further follow up testing at the children's hospital. While there, doctors found a large mass on her adrenal gland and her liver being enlarged.

A CT Scan was scheduled for the next to day to confirm their worst fear. Ansley was officially diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a cancer that develops from immature nerve cells found in several areas of the body. The cancer has already spread beyond her adrenal glands to her liver. A direct line will be put into her heart and they will take bone marrow samples to determine the severity of the cancer. Following that surgery, they will begin chemotherapy for a series of weeks. 

During this treatment, it is inevitable that both Brittany and Kevin will miss work and have substantial medical bills as they fight to keep their child alive. Due to this unavoidable financial burden, we would appreciate any and all contributions to help ease some of their stress during this difficult time.
