Hi I'm Annie. I'm a mom of four. I reside in Kentucky. I just recently spent every penny fixing the brakes on my car. I am trying to raise enough funds to repair the tie rods on the front end of the van. It's a 2012 caravan. It's falling apart all over. I would love to replace it, but I am not in a position to afford a car payment. I bought this car at the start of covid in 2020. I just paid it off this year. It has front end damage from a deer ramming it at a stop sign. That poor deer did not make it. He ran out of the dark into the street and wham. Hit my car at full speed. Nothing was damaged on the inside and all the vital parts work fine. So I just kept it and lovingly say, "she's winking at you".
At the present moment the driver door handle broke. The passenger window buttons don't work. The seal around the back slider doors fell off. The heat and air don't work in the back and the front fan motors are going out. Now the tie rods are in dire need of replacement. This car could cause an accident or completely loose it's front end of driven. I desperately need this car fixed. I have a very serious back condition that affects my hips and legs daily while causing extreme pain. I have trouble getting up and down. But usually once I'm up and moving I'm ok. But I spend most of my time in pain. I have lived with it for over twenty years and I am used to it. Some days I have to cry and scream just to get dressed. Some days I can run circles around everyone until I end up doing too much and cannot get up. My job is an 8.5 mile round trip walk, up and down hills. I have done it before whenever my car is in bad shape. I also use my car to transport my disabled husband to all his appointments. He is currently working with vocational rehab to try and get services to help him rehabilitate his body, in an attempt to work again one day. We cannot miss our appointments or he will loose services. I realize a lot of people are struggling right now. Personally, we already struggle to afford basic necessities. I work six days a week in an effort to just scrape by. If you cannot donate, please share. We greatly appreciate it. God bless you for reading our story.
