Hi, my name is Annie Luo and I am a junior at Brave Christian.
I am currently in a science practicum class where we make a science fair project for the Alameda County Fair. I am working on a project that I care about deeply: creating an organic solar cell that is both functional and environmentally friendly. Organic solar cells are an exciting new technology that could make renewable energy both more environmentally friendly and accessible; I want to be part of exploring that future.
But I've hit a wall in my science project. The key materials I need, especially the organic polymers, are far too expensive for me to afford on my own. My school doesn’t provide any funding, and my parents can’t cover the costs. Without these materials, I won’t be able to complete my project, no matter how much effort I’ve already put into researching and designing it.
This project is incredibly important to me, not only for my science fair, but also for my dream of pursuing science and renewable energy in the future. Any support you can give would mean the world to me. It would directly help me get the materials I need to finally build and test my solar cell. Even a small donation could make the difference between having to stop here or bringing my project to life.
Please support my science fair project!
