Help Annie keep fighting

If you are reading this, you probably know Annie. If you know Annie, you know what an amazing, kind, generous and loving person she is. She always has been and still is the person who will drop everything to help anyone in need. She needs our help now.
On August 21, 2017, the day most of us were checking out the eclipse, Annie had surgery for what she thought was a routine hysterectomy. Her doctor assured her he did not believe he would find any cancer and not to worry. When she awoke from the surgery, her life was changed forever. There was cancer and it was very advanced. Stage 4 cancer was found in the uterus, ovaries and appendix. Tumors had also metastasized to her upper and lower intensines, liver and bladder.
Annie has been fighting for her life every day since, under the care of Dr. Robert Morris at the Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit, MI. She immediately began an aggressive regime of Chemotherapy and as been receiving chemo every three weeks since September 8, 2017. There has been an overall decrease in tumor size, however, Stage 4 cancers are not considered curable but Annie is surpassing her original prognosis which was a maximum of 18 months. This regime is extending her life past what several doctors originally predicted. There are additional treatments Dr. Morris has not yet begun, he is optimistic to try additional chemotherapy agents, radiation and possible clinical trials.
You will rarely hear her complain, but the side effects of this treatment regime are profound. Chronic pain, extreme fatigue, nausea, severe neuropathy (numbness) in her hands and feet, dizziness and hair loss. In addition to these side effects other medical conditions have developed as a result of the cancer and the chemotherapy, low hemoglobin, low platelet count, low white blood cell count, high blood pressure, diabetes and macular degeneration. She has have recently been diagnosed with depression. All of this coupled with numerous doctor appointments and time off for chemo have made it impossible for her to continue working .
As of February 1, 2019, she began to self pay COBRA $1107.78 per month for her health insurance. There is an additional $3,000.00 deductible expense she is responsible for with this health plan.
If you are able to help Annie cover the cost of her health insurance premiums, it will alleviate one of her major worries and allow her to focus on staying healthy. Annie had to be convinced to allow me to create this Go Fund Me and is very concerned about taking more money than she needs. She has insisted that if more money than is needed is raised, it be donated to the Karmanos Healing Arts Program, which has been of great support to her during this time.
