Help Annie Heal Her Spine
Donation protected
Hi Friends,
As many of you know our friend Annie, developed sciatica caused by a severely herniated disc in February and has been enduring debilitating, chronic pain ever since. This has caused her to miss months of work, and be pretty disabled, spending most of each day lying down to alleviate the pain. She is going to get a surgery soon that will hopefully help, and the recovery time is at least 2 months.
Annie is so dear to many of us. Constantly delighting her friends with her passion for the natural world, for learning, and caring for other beings. She even wants to change her name to Annie Deerest, mostly because of her pet deer Maggot, but I find it highly appropriate. I can always count on Annie to show up and be kind, patient, compassionate, and do what she can to help others with an immense amount of humility and care. She has helped countless folks through her work organizing first aid clinics and the foot clinic, just for the pure joy of helping and connecting with others. She truly is an amazing person.
And ya know even if she didn't do so much for others- she is still deserving of endless love and support. Something I know she is learning right now.
This is an opportunity to support Annie's healing journey, helping her go through these next couple of months without having to work and also have enough funds to receive any additional treatments that may be helpful.
Her surgery is June 11th around 8am, if you want to send some love her way. I will probably organize some sort of meal train that might include helping Annie around the land, at the beginning of July when she will be at home, still healing and needing support mowing her lawn and things like that- if that is more how you like to show up.
Please don't post this on social media or send to anyone that is not a friend of Annie's.
And I ask that you keep this quiet for now.
If you want to offer cash or some other payment, feel free to message me (kat)
Thank you for loving Annie. Thank you for supporting your community.
May be all have the support we need to thrive. <3
