My name is Jennifer and I am trying to help my friend Annie pay for her cancer treatment. She was diagnosed early this year with stage 2, grade 3 breast cancer. This unexpected diagnosis has been devastating for her family, both emotionally and financially. While the chemotherapy is fighting her cancer, it is also destroying her immune system. She has repeatedly battled infections that resulted in sepsis and hospitalization. Annie has insurance, but the copays and deductibles have reached the thousands. She has been referred for palliative care, but her insurance will not cover it.

Annie works as an Evidence Technician with the Trinity County Sheriff's Department and Ron is a Probation Officer at the Trinity County Probation Department. Their beautiful daughter attends Weaverville Elementary School. They are a lovely, close family with a wonderful sense of humor and it has been very difficult watching them come to terms with Annie's cancer.

Annie drives nearly an hour every Friday to get her chemotherapy treatments. She will continue to get these once a week through September 2021. She still has surgery and radiation treatments to endure. Please consider helping this wonderful family concentrate on healing and not on how to pay to keep their wife and mother alive.
